Our company is looking for a Car Sales Executive to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining an outstanding product knowledge of the cars and vehicles you are selling;
  • Advising on and upselling on finance, insurance and accessories;
  • Ensure that all customers are informed of and shown all available options, extras, accessories, extended warranties and other value added products;
  • Successful upkeep of company mandatory paperwork and processes;
  • Achieve monthly sales targets for new and used vehicles;
  • Proactively seek and secure repeat and additional vehicle sales using prospecting, follow-up, referral and other available methods;
  • To maintain a thorough customer follow-up programme on behalf of the company using prospect and promotional files;
  • Completing necessary paperwork;
  • Upselling of additional add-ons to the customer;
  • Ensure that all customers are properly qualified in respect of methods of vehicle funding, and are referred to the Business Manager;
  • Long-term career opportunities;
  • Meeting customers at the large car showroom and greeting on arrival;
  • Arrange test drives whilst upselling/consulting during the journey;
  • Suggesting vehicles best suited to the customer requirements and showing them around the car;
  • Update the dealerships records with customer information to ensure that the database is fully and accurately maintained.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence;
  • Previous Car Sales experience, ideally within a dealer environment;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Full UK driving licence is essential;
  • Negotiation and communication skills;
  • Full driving licence;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Sales/retail experience desirable – but not necessarily from within the motor industry (training will be provided where necessary);
  • Excellent communication skills and a people person who enjoys interacting with others;
  • Ability to work within a team and on own initiative;
  • Proven ability to follow a rigid sales process;
  • Warm and friendly personality portraying a professional image to all customers (both face to face and over the phone);
  • Organisation skills and being able to manage customer appointments;
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to build strong relationships;
  • IT Literate.
