Our company is looking for a Field Sales Representative to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Essex – Apart from CO postcodes;
  • NW London – NW1 – 11;
  • Identify new business opportunities;
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends;
  • B2B Sales;
  • Conduct site surveys and recommend the best solution;
  • Prospect new business introducing the product range and other various materials handling/warehouse solutions from our extensive portfolio;
  • Developing energy retrofit and/or new build sales opportunities;
  • Management and ownership of your territory;
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators;
  • Achieving sales targets as set by our client through a wide variety of means;
  • Account management/maintain and build on current business relationships;
  • Research, organize and participate at UK Lighting Trade Shows;
  • Business development, and focus on continuing to maximise distribution of products;
  • Working to your company and personal business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Highly focused on customer solutions and satisfaction;
  • Experience working with C-Level executives;
  • Specific experience is IT operations management and analytics, IT Service Management, Application, System, and Network performance are preferred;
  • Strong problem solving, organisational and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Previous Sales Methodology training, demonstrated ability to sell via these methods, and strong customer references preferred;
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding annual quota;
  • Strong negotiation and motivational skills;
  • Excellent presentation and poise;
  • Both SaaS and on-premise selling experience a MUST;
  • Ideally having a proven background in B2B sales;
  • Evidence of successful sales experience in the technology field and sales management;
  • A proven track record in a similar field-based role would be advantageous, especially capital equipment sales i.e. Fork lift trucks/equipment;
  • Be able to demonstrate a structured approach to sales and territory management.
