Our company is looking for a Internal Sales Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying sales opportunities in the allocated sales territory and developing a plan to maximise sales;
  • Identifying and opening up new business opportunities;
  • Responding to enquiries and following up to convert to sales;
  • Building strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales;
  • Working in an 80% office and 20% external sales role;
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure fulfilment of client orders;
  • Manage and develop existing customer relationships;
  • Interpret client requirements to produce quotations;
  • Managing and reviewing quote requests;
  • Operating in an 80% account development and 20% new business sales role;
  • 50% of your time will be supporting the EMEA Sales Engineering team with the following;
  • Following up on quotations;
  • Speaking with customers from a variety of industries;
  • Following up on leads in order to gain new customers;
  • Utilising and updating the CRM.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Identifying sales opportunities in the allocated sales territory and developing a plan to maximise sales;
  • Desire to be successful and achieve both personal and company objectives;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft software (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Building strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales;
  • Experience of customer and supplier interaction;
  • Flexible with the ability to work independently in addition to working productively alongside our London based Sales Engineers;
  • Previous work experience in the process industry or with instrumentation is essential or alternatively have some commercial sales experience;
  • Consultative selling approach;
  • Prioritize and organise own workload;
  • Must have English Language and Maths GCSEs;
  • Highly moivated and confident team player;
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure;
  • Excellent relationship developer with great customer service skills;
  • Questioning techniques.
