Our company is looking for a Internal Sales Executive to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Recording correct data onto the new CRM system and tracking future opportunities for orders or appointment opportunities;
  • Telesales;
  • Recording and reporting the outcome of sales calls;
  • Securing renewal clients across the publication whilst sourcing new business;
  • Providing your customers with the best service in the industry and to ultimately grow business year on year, achieving set targets;
  • To maintain/increase the overall targeted profit margin for each allocated client;
  • To secure all renewal contracts where possible and to identify new opportunities by way of cross selling;
  • Making proactive calls and to build new relationships and spotting opportunities to grow the business;
  • Assisting with and attending Product Exhibitions throughout the UK;
  • Promoting and selling various company products over the phone;
  • Providing contractual and logistical support to clients;
  • Following up all incoming enquiries and previous quotations;
  • Using initiative to identify any potential new business streams and work with the management team to apply them to a sales campaign;
  • Ensure clients needs are met at all times;
  • Lead Generation.

Requirements:

  • A background within a manufacturing/distribution, steel industry knowledge is not essential;
  • An advanced user of excel, able to create pivot table and V look ups;
  • Experience in a Sales/Account Management role;
  • Enjoy working on the phone;
  • Have a strong attention to detail as you will be instructing order quantities and pricing;
  • Professional, can do attitude with all clients;
  • Demonstrate previous sales skills of selling into a B2B market and ideally have worked with a technical product;
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks;
  • Strong understanding of online web-based technology;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Competent at communicating and reporting to management;
  • 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday (increasing with years of service);
  • Excellent working knowledge of the MS Office suite;
  • Confident and professional telephone manner;
  • Experience in an IT telesales environment.
