Our company is looking for a Internal Sales to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for meeting sales and revenues targets;
- Responsible for raising work orders;
- Putting together quotes and orders; liaising with estimating department;
- Identify decision makers in businesses;
- Identify new business opportunities through cold calling from leads;
- Follow up call to new architects;
- Keeping in touch with a wide variety of customers;
- Credit control including chasing customer late payments;
- Sending out mailshots to targeted list of architects;
- Attention to detail is important as well as being able to problem solve using ones own initiative;
- Provide weekly sales reports/monthly data analysis of gains, losses and projections;
- Responding to email and telephone inquiries and prepare customer quotations;
- Dealing with enquiries and orders in a timely manner whilst maintaining accuracy;
- Following up all sales quotes;
- Develop new and existing customer relationships by offering excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Timely administration of quotations using in house quotation software;
- Collation of customer files and purchase orders to company standards;
- Interact with customers to resolve any queries;
- Maintain culture of continuous improvement and excellence in customer service;
- Proactively make outgoing calls qualifying prospects and closing sales in order to meet targets;
- Ensure customer records are updated frequently and accurately on the Customer Relationship Management Software;
- You will be highly organised, able to multi-task and have the ability to build rapport with people at all levels;
- 3 years sales experience;
- Excellent communication ability, written as well as verbally;
- You MUST have experience within a similar Internal Sales/ Account Management/ Business Development role;
- You will have excellent PC skills;
- Excellent organisation, planning and reporting;
- Team player with excellent communication skills;
- Experience in the battery industry is desirable but not essential;
- Able to meet targets and company goals.
