Our company is looking for a Investment Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support to senior team members in deal execution, including assisting in due diligence and preparing investment papers;
  • Relationship management to ensure deals get done;
  • Analysis of incoming REIT deals (both single assets and portfolios) including quantitative and qualitative research;
  • Structuring of transactions to establish the best method to make the deal work;
  • Create investment analysis and financial models to support management investment decisions;
  • Run (and maintain) economic models for current upstream projects;
  • Complete accurate record keeping of all activity;
  • To support the Asset / Portfolio Manager in the preparation of key asset management initiatives and feed into the ongoing asset reporting;
  • Assisting with deal execution including working with brokers, legal, technical, tax and financial advisors;
  • Perform comparative analysis of fiscal regimes for early stage screening of new areas for business development;
  • Answer queries form Account Managers, clients and intermediaries;
  • Scenario modelling using Excel;
  • Creating pitches, proposal and marketing materials;
  • Assisting with the sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and structuring of potential deals;
  • Business partnering to understand variances.

Requirements:

  • Strong team player;
  • CFA Charterholder preferable;
  • At least five years’ experience conducting fund research, including Fixed Income funds;
  • An interest in Impact and Sustainable investing;
  • Required experience with the following: Morningstar, Excel (Advanced), Bloomberg, Microsoft Office;
  • Good initiative / project management. Happy to drive your own workload;
  • Organised, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise a varied workload;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with people at all levels;
  • Highly motivated and proactive;
  • Strong personal values, particularly integrity;
  • Highly numerate with strong academics;
  • High quality degree, ideally in maths, economics, finance or a related subject;
  • Precision and attention to detail;
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial services, real estate and/or care;
