Our company is looking for a Lettings Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing marketing activities, carrying out valuations and liaising with landlords;
  • List new properties;
  • Recruiting staff and carrying out regular performance revbiews;
  • Being responsible for developing and evolving the business plans for lettings;
  • Increasing overall profit margins;
  • Producing and regularly updating relevant reports recording the performance of the department;
  • Reporting to the Director on a daily basis as well as end of the month reporting;
  • Conduct annual review meetings with all clients;
  • Promoting and maintaining internal relations with the office’s residential Head of Departments and other departments;
  • Arranging staff meetings;
  • Deal with Landlord issues and challenges on a daily basis;
  • Building and expanding the lettings business and being aware of future opportunities that will enable the office to continue to expand;
  • Arranging and carrying out valuations in order to gain new instructions;
  • Drive and Manage the maintenance requirements across the group property portfolio,
  • Liaising with applicants and Rent4sure during the referencing process.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will have at least two year’s experience in a senior lettings/managerial role;
  • Driving licence and own car or pool car to be used;
  • IT proficient;
  • Must have previous Valuation experience;
  • Ability to produce all lettings administration tasks (ASTs, Gas safety certs, EPCs);
  • ARLA qualification would be preferred or open to undertaking the studies;
  • Staff management experience desirable;
  • Sales experience;
  • Must have experience in a Lettings Manager or Property Manager role;

  • 3 years + experience within a Senior Lettings role (Manager or Senior Negotiator);
