Lettings Negotiator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lettings Negotiator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiating offers between the landlord and tenant;
- Canvassing/door-knocking;
- Providing excellent customer service at all times;
- Enjoy generating appointments for viewings and valuations;
- Identify and properly register potential tenants and landlords;
- Arranging Emergency Repairs;
- Assisting with business generation;
- Securing offers for tenancies;
- Dealing with occasional Maintenance enquiries and directing to appropriate person;
- Taking offers and finalising paper work;
- Arrange and conduct viewings;
- Arranging and conducting viewings as well as handling objections and negotiating deals;
- Showing applicants around properties;
- Negotiating renewals when applicable for properties and managing the paperwork;
- Developing long standing relationships with both tenants and landlords.
Requirements:
- Full driving licence;
- Ability to work to deadlines;
- ARLA Qualified desirable not essential;
- 3 years + experience in a Lettings role;
- To have at least 1 years’ experience within a similar role;
- Experienced in valuations, negotiating lets, check ins, check outs, inspections, property maintenance and lettings legislation;
- Must be fully conversant with Office 365, Microsoft Excel and Word;
- A natural Negotiator;
- Exceptional and efficient customer service;
- Self motivated and target driven;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Be a strong rapport builder, enjoy networking and getting out and about;
- 6 months + experience in a Lettings environment;
- Excellent organisational skills – being able to spin many plates at the same time;
- 12 months relevant experience in property preferably within the London market.
