Motor Trade Service Advisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Motor Trade Service Advisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to the Service Manager as required to guarantee the smooth running of the service desk;
- Ensuring the Technicians job cards are accurate to ensure correct billing;
- Maintaining up to date vehicle information and history and informing customers of upcoming service dates;
- Ensuring Customers are notified of all work to be undertaken and of the need for any further or future repair or servicing requirements;
- Handing over the customers vehicle after completion of work and inspecting for any bodywork damage.
Requirements:
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and CRM database packages;
- Be enthusiastic, friendly, helpful and a confident relationship builder;
- Ideally, thou not essentially have experience of the Kerridge system;
- Have good mechanical awareness and understanding of vehicles and car parts;
- Work under pressure and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills;
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
