Driver/Warehouse Operative Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Scanning items and packing for collection;
- Loading and unloading the vehicles safely and efficiently;
- Delivering parcels – leaving depot approximately 3:30-8:30;
- Other warehouse duties as and when required;
- To ensure all trailers and units are left in a safe area at all sites;
- To handle and locate stock accurately in a timely manner, ensuring no damages during handling;
- To transport goods to and from various sites in a safe condition;
- Ensure that the issue of components is in line with the correct stock and batch rotation practice;
- To undertake any further movements as required;
- To ensure all equipment is maintained and kept in a legal condition;
- To work with Logistics and Production to ensure speedy turnaround of trailers.
Requirements:
- Clean and full UK drivers licence;
- Self motivated with the ability to work on your own;
- Excellent time management;
- Keen eye for detail;
- Polite and friendly;
- Smart;
- Basic level of numeracy, literacy and computer skills;
- Minimum age of 25 years;
- Physically able as your role will involve loading and unloading parcels.
