FLT Counterbalance driver Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a FLT Counterbalance driver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Moving large stock with a counterbalance FLT;
- Carrying out Line Feeding duties when needed;
- Stock control;
- Loading and unloading wagons;
- Adhering to strict health and safety policies at all times;
- A lot of manual handling;
- For this position you DO require an IN-DATE Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence;
- Operating the Counterbalance forklift trucks in and around the warehouse;
- Basic picking and packing around the warehouse;
- Adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures;
- Loading and unloading of deliveries;
- Reporting any damages to the product;
- Communicating effectively within the workplace;
- Identifying and labelling pallets for dispatch;
- Adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- Have a right first-time attitude as accuracy is critical in the role;
- You will need a valid Counterbalance licence;
- Have experience of working in an open-air yard environment;
- Own transport preferable;
- Boots and Hi Vis;
- 1 Year FLT Experience;
- Candidate are required to have at least 12 months experience working in a warehousing environment and operating Counterbalance FLT’s;
- Our client will also accept in house licences provided physical copies are presented;
- Successful candidates will be invited to an induction and assessment before starting;
- VNA Training on offer for with pay increases when completed;
- A valid FLT Counterbalance license;
- Previous FLT experience.
