LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Vehicle checks;
- Paperwork correctly filled and updated;
- Start time is 5:30am;
- Complete a Pre and Post operation vehicle check;
- No assessment required;
- Use of curtain sided trailers;
- Strapping of goods;
- Min 8 hours pay guaranteed;
- You will have a driver’s mate to assist you;
- Delivering drinks to pubs, clubs and restaurants;
- Some lifting may be required – up to 20kg;
- You will be required to travel 40 miles to the job;
- Delivery of palletised goods;
- You will be delivering alcohol to customers – 5 to 12 deliveries;
- Hand balling will be required.
Requirements:
- Verifiable references;
- Full HGV class 2 licence;
- MPQC (Epic card);
- Class 2/Cat C Driver (HGV);
- a full C licence;
- Clean licence preferable;
- Class 2/Cat C Driver experience;
- At least 1 years experience driving LGV2;
- New Driver’s welcome to apply;
- Pass a D&A test and a Drive assessment;
- Be able to work in a busy environment;
- Digi-card and CPC;
- The work is Monday to Friday – No weekends allowing for good work life balance;
- Max 6 points with no major endorsements;
- We accept up to 6 points with none of the following codes: DD, DR, CD but prefer a clean licence.
