Our company is looking for a Production Operative to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Working according to SOPs and hitting targets;
  • Ability to work with speed and precision;
  • Working on a fast-paced manufacturing / production line;
  • Picking;
  • Monitoring and packing finished products ready for shipping;
  • Seasoning or despatching;
  • Carrying out quality checks on products;
  • Package items to company guidelines;
  • Storing mix so that it may set for firing;
  • Ensure paperwork and packaging for collections and couriers is completed;
  • Handling raw meat;
  • Scarp cylinders in line with mandatory specifications;
  • Assisting others with various engineering tasks;
  • Be available to cover productions runs at short notice, with additional hours as required;
  • Filling up crates with product.

Requirements:

  • Be flexible to work 8 hours shifts 6am-2pm, 5 days between Monday and Saturday;
  • Keen eye for detail;
  • Own transport needed for getting to the location;
  • Strong teamwork abilities, able to work as part of a team;
  • Ability to read and communicate good English;
  • Good eye for detail;
  • Major client;
  • H&S, Quality, Technical, and any other processes and procedure adherence;
  • High level of accuracy;
  • Reliable and eager to learn new skills;
  • Good communication skills; able to communicate effectively at customers;
  • Sudbury – applications from surrounding areas welcome;
  • Must be a proactive team player, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude;
  • Fork Lift truck Licence – desirable;
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.
