Service and Warehouse Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Service and Warehouse Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Make sure hall 3 and conversion walkways are brushed and tidy;
- Remove, weigh and record all used set up reels from print and conversion record weight and dispose in film waste skips outside;
- Wrap, strap and book in goods;
- Operating from hall 3, scan and unwrap pallets, issuing fillm to the presses in line with the order requirements and the print plan;
- Empty all bailers on factory floor, ensuring the strap is weighed and that all bailed wasted is removed to the bailed waste holding location outside;
- Assisting in the warehouse as required;
- Empty cardboard skip on shop floor and remove unused 6′ cores from shop floor, ensuring waste is removed to the cardboard waste skip outside;
- Take responsibilty for removing all RTS reels from the print presses, weigh and record the weight, strap and place in the RTS holding location;
- Operate in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards including BRC, ISO & A2 environmental;
- Operate a fork lift truck & PPT to unload and load deliveries.
Requirements:
- Fork lift truck licence – including experience of Bendi & PPT trucks and Counter balance;
- Previous experience within a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment;
- Exposure to quality, health, safety and environmental standards and practices within a production setting;
- Some experience of basic administration/record keeping;
- Operate in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards including BRC, ISO & A2 environmental;
- Operate a fork lift truck & PPT to unload and load deliveries;
- Empty cardboard skip on shop floor and remove unused 6′ cores from shop floor, ensuring waste is removed to the cardboard waste skip outside;
