Our company is looking for a Stock Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Recording and transferring stock to the right locations;
  • Booking stock onto the computer system SAGE;
  • Releasing work orders to the correct department Material/Components;
  • Full control over goods in;
  • Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads and amend/rework accordingly;
  • Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments;
  • Responsible for managing the Hold and Release process;
  • Other duties as directed, i.e. driving vehicles;
  • Reconciling purchase orders, packing lists and purchase invoices and taking the appropriate actions when discrepancies are found;
  • Working with the Inventory Planner & Business Analyst to understand the current supply chain and inventory catalogue;
  • Liaising with marketing department to ensure new stock lines are listed on company’s on-line web sites;
  • Generate inspection lists for the booking-in of stock and ensure all stock is properly counted in;
  • Manage the booking in diary and liaise with hauliers/suppliers regarding late deliveries;
  • Assist Stock Management with investigations;
  • Managing and maintaining appropriate stock levels.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
  • Previous stock control experience;
  • Team player who can also work on own initiative;
  • Knowledge of WMS;
  • Flexibility in approach to work and shift patterns;
  • Flexibility within the role to cover all areas of the Stock/Goods In department functionality;
  • A high level of attention to detail with the ability to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively;
  • Excellent problem solving and investigation skills;
  • PC literate with a strong working knowledge of MS Office Packages.
