Stores Operative Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Stores Operative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Clerical duties to include accurately maintaining official logs;
- Picking and packing orders;
- Receiving, checking, notification and distribution of stores received in goods-in;
- Provide packing support;
- Ensure ERP system is maintained with latest location information;
- Preparation of goods for freight;
- Receive and re-stock finished goods warehouse;
- Bio-Security check in and around cargo and the warehouse;
- Loading and unloading transports;
- Support to other areas of sections remit as and when required and as identified by the Director;
- Handling, consolidation, documentation, packing and marking of cargo;
- Book shipping using ERP System – training will be provided.
Requirements:
- Forklift licence/experience;
- Numeracy;
- Self-motivated;
- Manual handling required;
- Keyboard/computer literacy;
- Understanding of order handling and dispatch processes;
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
