Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team within the facade sector.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for cost control and management throughout the project lifecycle. This is a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects within budget.

Responsibilities:

Conduct cost estimates and prepare budgets for construction projects
Analyze project plans and specifications to determine quantities of materials required
Source and obtain competitive prices for materials and equipment
Prepare and submit accurate cost reports, final accounts and payments
Monitor project costs and identify areas of potential savings or cost overruns
Price variations
Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities

Experience:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role in the construction industry
Knowledge of Facades, Curtain Walling or Glazing sector added bonus
Proficient in using relevant software for quantity takeoff and cost estimation
Familiarity with construction contracts, specifications, and drawings
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
