Salary Scale: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed Supply Teachers to work across secondary schools in York.

This is an ideal opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible teaching opportunities, whether you are seeking occasional work, building experience across different school settings, or looking for a change from a permanent position. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning while adapting confidently to different classrooms and school environments.

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver lessons in line with the work provided by the school, maintain effective classroom management, and ensure students remain engaged and focused. You will work across different year groups and settings, using your teaching expertise to create a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Supply Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons in accordance with prepared plans and school expectations
• Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups, subjects, and classroom settings
• Follow safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies consistently
• Provide relevant feedback to school staff regarding student engagement and lesson outcomes

As the Ideal Supply Teacher, You Should Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within a primary or secondary educational setting
• A flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to teaching
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and maintaining high standards of education

To Work with GSL Education, You Must:

• Have recent teaching experience within an educational setting
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
