We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 3 Therapy Assistant to join our team at Barts NHS Trust in London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality therapy services within a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will work closely with patients and the multidisciplinary team to assist in the rehabilitation process, focusing on major trauma orthopaedics, plastics, and neurotrauma. As a Band 3 Therapy Assistant, the role involves supporting patients in joint and independent exercises, functional tasks, and rehabilitation activities. Duties include preparing treatment areas, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing encouragement and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Collaboration with therapists to implement individualised care plans and contributing to the overall efficiency of the therapy team is also required.
Experience in major trauma orthopaedics, plastics, and neurotrauma
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable
