Social Worker - Children's Services (Temporary)

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s CP / CIN team, based in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team working with children and families subject to Child Protection (CP) and Child in Need (CIN) plans. You'll manage a varied caseload, undertake assessments, develop plans, and work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
Manage a caseload of Child Protection and Child in Need cases.
Complete assessments, care planning, and risk assessments.
Undertake statutory visits and direct work with children and families.
Prepare court reports and support care proceedings where necessary.
Competitive rate of £35 per hour.

Hours: Full-time
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
Experience within Children's Services, ideally in CP/CIN, Safeguarding, or Locality Teams.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and safeguarding procedures.
Strong assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
