This is an 11–18 well-established, Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Manchester , known for its strong focus on digital learning and innovation. The school has invested significantly in its IT infrastructure, ensuring that both staff and students benefit from modern, reliable systems that enhance teaching and learning. There is a strong emphasis on professional development, and staff are encouraged to grow within their roles.
As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the school’s IT systems and providing technical support to staff and students. Provide first-line technical support to staff and students
Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems
Assist with the installation and configuration of IT equipment
Monitor system performance and ensure security protocols are followed
Manage user accounts and access permissions
Support the development and implementation of IT systems and upgrades
Experience in an IT support or technician role (school experience desirable)
Strong knowledge of networks, hardware, and software systems
Modern IT infrastructure and resources
