Python Engineer – Fintech
Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Python Engineer to join our high profile client.
Our client is a leading FinTech company based in the City of London. They provide high class Derivatives Instruments Valuation within the financial market.
Code is delivered in production in short release cycles and quickly in the hands of users. This not only makes quality mandatory but also allows users to provide fast feedback helping us to build better solutions.
At the R&D, we value passion, leadership, self-initiative and team spirit which we think are key to great innovations.
This Financial Tech firm is pioneering a new concept for the financial markets. The most important part of their product will be the enterprise-grade technology platform. This is a unique green field development opportunity that will allow you to play a part in shaping the future of finance and be rewarded accordingly.
Development is agile and fast paced. As requirements evolve you will leverage the best of the open source community, sometimes substituting your own solutions where greater performance is needed. You will be encouraged to evangelise and prototype new technologies and through doing so you will help shape the architecture.
Python Developers Must Have:
- Strong experience developing software
- Experience with Python
- Knowledge of relational database concepts
- Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, HTML
- A deep understanding of programming principles and an interest in software development
- Bachelor’s degree or higher within Computer Science or equivalent.
