Finance Manager responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day finance operations, including monthly accounting close activities, accounts receivable oversight, cash flow and working capital management
Lead and develop the finance function, including line management and mentoring
Prepare and submit accurate monthly management accounts, financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analyses
Lead the annual budgeting process and produce regular forecasts, monitoring financial performance and identifying variances, trends, and actionable insights
Collaborate with business stakeholders to monitor expenditure, improve financial performance, and support informed decision-making
Maintain robust internal financial controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing documentation and liaising with auditors to meet all requirements
Keep up to date with changes in financial legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance
