Behaviour Support Mentor (Temp to Perm)

Some children need a little extra support to feel safe, settled and ready to learn. Protocol Education is working with two welcoming primary schools in the BS31 area who are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join their teams from October through to the end of the academic year.

You'll play a key part in supporting pupils who may need additional guidance with emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement, helping them feel secure, valued and ready to succeed in school.

Working closely with teachers, SEND professionals and wider support staff, you'll help pupils develop positive relationships, build confidence and access learning successfully. Your day may involve providing one-to-one support, leading small group interventions, implementing behaviour strategies and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

The schools pride themselves on their supportive cultures, collaborative staff teams and commitment to pupil wellbeing. Every small success is celebrated, and your contribution will have a genuine impact on children's educational journeys.

If you're resilient, compassionate and passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning, we'd love to hear from you.
