Teacher of English (full-time)

A well-regarded and inclusive 11–18 secondary school in Worcester is seeking to appoint a committed and inspiring Teacher of English to join its established English department. You will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 , with the opportunity to teach KS5 for candidates with appropriate experience. The curriculum is carefully sequenced to build students’ reading, writing and analytical skills progressively, with a strong emphasis on literacy, oracy and extended writing.

Teaching places a strong emphasis on structured discussion, modelling of analytical writing and building subject-specific vocabulary.

Teachers are encouraged to bring their own interests and expertise to the classroom while working within a shared framework that ensures consistency and reduces unnecessary workload.
