A number of early years settings and primary schools in Sheffield are seeking dedicated and nurturing Early Years Teachers to support children in Nursery and Reception classes.

About the Schools:

These settings provide warm, inclusive and well-structured early years environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration and routine. Staff work closely together to create safe and engaging spaces that support early development, communication skills and social interaction. There is a strong emphasis on building secure relationships, consistency and a positive start to education.

As an Early Years Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's early development across the EYFS framework. Support children's early development across communication, literacy and numeracy

• Observe, assess and track children's progress in line with EYFS expectations
• Work closely with teaching assistants and wider staff teams
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and carers

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)

• Experience working within Early Years or primary settings
• Ability to plan creative and engaging learning activities
