Junior Systems Engineer – Quant trading
London – £60,000-100,000 + Bonus
Quant Capital is working closely with a prominent and highly respected algorithmic trading firm to find a Junior Systems Engineer to join the growing team in London.
Our client is a major player in global markets, working with partners and trading venues to ensure consistent liquidity in various markets. With active trading across close to 100 venues, they handle a daily volume of more than $200 billion. Their focus on technology excellence and a collaborative culture without strict hierarchies makes them an excellent workplace for talented individuals.
This includes overseeing Windows and Linux desktops, Windows server infrastructure (covering active directory, application deployment, clustered enterprise database systems, monitoring, and automated build systems), audio-visual deployments, LAN, internet, WiFi network environments, and various enterprise applications (email, third-party productivity tools, finance-specific applications). Offer support for audio-visual, printing, and facilities
Collaborate with 3rd party vendors during the installation of new systems
Experience in scripting and coding (Powershell/Python/Go)
Linux and Windows Administration
