About The Role As a Casual Delivery Driver at Bennetts Car Parts, you will provide flexible cover for staff absences, sometimes at short notice. You will re responsible for the safe, timely and accurate delivery of car parts and accessories to our customers, including garages and retail clients. This position also involves basic warehouse duties such as picking and packing orders, when not on delivery runs.
This is a 0 hour contract and you will be called upon to cover staff absences, sometimes at short notice.
Deliver car parts and accessories customers in a timely and safe manner
Load and unload parts, ensuring they are handled carefully and delivered without damage
Check deliveries against orders and obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery
Assist in the warehouse when not driving (e.g., picking, packing, stock checks)
Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and complies with legal requirements
Full UK driving licence
Previous delivery or driving experience
Good geographical knowledge of the local area
