Electrical Design Engineer (Manufacturing / CAD) (Permanent)
£50k - £60k per annumElectrical Design Engineer
Join a leading design and manufacturer of full turnkey projects for food processing & packaging machinery. Due to further growth within the business they are looking for an experienced hands-on Electrical Design Engineer to join their projects team.
Role & Responsibilities of an Electrical Design Engineer:
Conducted control panel layouts, schematic drawings, component & cable specification
Create electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic diagrams using EPlan Pro Panel software
Work closely with mechanical design, projects & software teams
PLC / HMi selection in line with the software department
Office based role, with occasional travel to customers sites, sometime overseas
Work to appropriate legislation standards - electrical safety, BS7671, ISO13489
Knowledge, Skills & Experience needed to be an Electrical Design Engineer:
Must electrical CAD experience using EPlan Pro Panel software
HNC / HND qualified in Electrical Engineering
Be an expert in control panel design work
Proven electrical wiring experience with design for projects
Able to manage a dynamic workload in an ever changing projects environment
Able to read & interpret technical drawings & data
Mechanical knowledge / experience would be beneficial
Knowledge of PLC's - Siemens, Mitsubishi & Allen Bradley
Must be able to drive, no public transport access to office.
