We are seeking a skilled and proactive Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our Oracle database systems, supporting both internal teams and client-facing applications.
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems.
Ensure database availability, integrity, performance, and security.
Support application releases, installations, and patching activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the application and database.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for upgrades, installations, backups, and restores.
Monitor system health and proactively address performance issues.
Participate in an out-of-hours support rota as required.
Database Expertise : Oracle Database Architecture, Performance Tuning, Installation & Configuration, Maintenance, Backup & Recovery, Security Management, Patch Management.
Operating Systems : Proficiency in LINUX environments.
Application Support : Experience in IT Applications, Implementation, and Technical Support.
Ability to produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
Understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
Security Clearance : This role requires active or eligible security clearance.
