Full Time SEN Teaching Assistant (Permanent)

A well-established independent school in Birmingham is seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Learning Support Department ASAP . This is a full-time, permanent position supporting students with additional learning needs across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to provide tailored support for students with a range of additional needs, including learning difficulties, ASD, ADHD and SEMH.

Monitoring progress and contributing to review meetings

  • Previous experience supporting young people with SEN
  • Understanding of inclusive education and safeguarding
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN training) are desirable but not essential for experienced candidates.
