Jooble, one of the world’s leading job aggregators with an audience of over 5 million people in the mobile app, continues to gain momentum in 2025. Push notifications, improved user interface, and innovative features have led to impressive audience growth. Let’s discuss the key updates and the results the product team has achieved.
The beginning of 2025 proved highly successful for the Jooble mobile app. By the end of 2024, the number of weekly installs reached 60 thousand, but the team has now achieved an impressive result of 100 thousand new installs weekly.
This progress has been achieved due to several factors:
Over the 6 months, organic app downloads worldwide have grown 59% on iOS and 23% on Google Play. This is a significant achievement, especially considering the high competition in the job search app category.
During the year, the most impressive growth is seen in certain strategically important regions:
Painstaking work on competitor analysis (dozens of apps were studied) and metadata optimization led to a significant improvement in search visibility:
In addition to growth in the total number of installations, the Jooble app shows impressive results in improving positions for key search queries in app stores.
In the US on the iOS platform, Jooble moved from 35th to 3rd position for “remote job”, to 5th position from 55th for “find job”, and entered the top 10 for “find work”.
In Europe, the results are no less impressive:
This is great news for Jooble’s partners: the app is proving its strength in key markets and building solid engagement with the audience we care about most.

Currently, the app sends about one million deeply personalized notifications daily, about 10% of all user actions in the system.
The team introduced several types of notifications customized for different markets and functionality:
The push notification system continues to evolve, and soon, the team plans to experiment with the algorithm for selecting jobs and expand the set of personalized notifications.
Responding to users’ need to receive fresh offers on a regular basis, the Jooble team created a special Featured Jobs section. This tab displays the most popular and relevant jobs updated every 24 hours.
This functionality is designed to increase the number of users returning to the app. Thanks to the built-in timer that shows the time until the next list update, an additional motivation to check the app regularly is created.
Users will soon receive an update that significantly improves the app’s navigation. The main innovation is the ability to switch between subscriptions quickly.
It is worth recalling that compared to traditional web search, the Jooble mobile app offers a more personalized approach. It allows users to create multiple subscriptions to jobs of interest using different parameters (job title, location, salary, etc.).
Currently, to view different subscriptions, a user has to perform several actions: open one tab, go back, and open another. The new interface will allow this almost “on the fly,” which will make using the application more comfortable.
In addition, the updated interface will feature:
Jooble expects that these improvements will make users more active, allow them to spend less time navigating, and, as a result, directly impact the app’s business metrics.

Analyzing user behavior, the team found an interesting feature: many new users from ads had difficulty selecting a country. On average, people spent about a minute on the country selection screen, not understanding how to continue the registration process.
The problem was that country names were previously displayed in their original languages. For example, a user with an English interface would see Deutschland instead of Germany, which created confusion. Moreover, the search bar did not find the name in the user’s interface language.
The team promptly made changes:
In addition to the changes visible to users, the Jooble team is constantly working on:
The Jooble team continues to work to make it faster and more efficient for every job seeker to find the perfect job. New job matching algorithms, expanded personalization features, and even more innovations that will change the job search market are ahead.
