The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment within the Early Years setting. Responsibilities of an Early Years Teaching Assistant: * Support children with learning and play-based activities within the classroom
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging Early Years lessons and activities
* Help children develop social, emotional, and communication skills
* Support students on a one-to-one and small group basis when required
* Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement
* Assist with preparing classroom resources and learning materials
* Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents where necessary Requirements of an Early Years Teaching Assistant: * Experience working with children within an Early Years or primary school setting is desirable
* CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance is beneficial
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach
* Genuine passion for supporting young children's development and learning
* Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
