Funeral Arranger

As well as supporting families in making funeral arrangements, Funeral Arrangers are responsible for ensuring all the relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately, and on time. They are also responsible for providing a detailed handover to the Funeral Director, in order that every little detail goes to plan on the day. Our Funeral Arrangers have an important role within the community, building strong working relationships as well as organising fundraising activities to support organisations in the local community. Being a Funeral Arranger can be an opportunity to make a real difference to families during a difficult time in their lives. To learn more about this important role, go to our . Participate in a rota system (1 week in 5) to cover duties such as removals within normal business hours and out of hours (i.e nights, weekends and statutory/customary holidays). Bring the deceased into company's care from locations such as private homes, care homes, hospitals and scenes of accidents. Show respect towards families and awareness of their different religious or cultural practices. The on-call covers most of Glasgow, again possibility of going out of this area.
