Dispensing Optician

We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Dispensing Optician to join an exceptional team in Glasgow with a focus on delivering personalised, high-quality care.
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys staying up to date with the latest in eyewear fashion and optical technology.
Key Duties
You'll be part of a well-established, independent practice known for pioneering clinical excellence in Scotland.
You'll work alongside 3 experienced Dispensing Opticians and 3 Optometrists, and have the autonomy to:
- Help select and stock exclusive, high-end frame collections
- Attend top trade shows including 100% Optical, MIDO, and SILMO
- Dispense premium eyewear brands like Mykita, Lindberg, Lunor, SALT, Bevel, Tom Ford, Tom Davies, Silhouette, and Face-A-Face
- Provide specialist paediatric dispensing and modified frames
- Anterior and posterior OCT, OCT-Angiography
- Ultra-widefield imaging, corneal topography, biometry
- A comfortable, modern workspace
- Scotland's first Myopia Management clinic
- Scotland's first Valeda photobiomodulation clinic for dry macular disease
- Visual Stress assessments
- Specialist Contact Lens fitting (scleral, RGP, hybrid, Ortho-K)
- Shared care glaucoma, dry eye, and low vision clinics
- Competitive Salary: £32,000 £37,000 (pro rata, depending on experience)
- Full-time or Part-time opportunities available
- GOC fees and ABDO membership covered
