Key Responsibilities
- Client Servicing: Act as the main point of contact for commercial clients, ensuring high service standards.
- Policy Management: Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims support.
- New Business Support: Assist in generating new business opportunities, preparing quotes, and liaising with insurers.
- Portfolio Focus: Largely made up of property owners' risks , with the remainder across wider commercial lines.
- Documentation: Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Collaboration: Work closely with account executives and brokers to deliver tailored commercial solutions.
- Experience: Previous background in commercial insurance broking or account handling (2 years' minimum).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of property and commercial combined risks.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and relationship management
- Attention to detail and organisational ability
- Confidence in negotiating with insurers and clients
- Qualifications: Progression towards CII qualifications is often encouraged.
