As Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will take ownership of the electrical elements of your project and ensure safe, high-quality and commercially successful delivery.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading the electrical delivery of complex building services and infrastructure projects.
- Managing electrical project scope, subcontractors, suppliers and specialist packages.
- Developing and maintaining project programmes, schedules, submittal logs and coordination drawings.
- Working closely with design, commercial, construction and commissioning teams.
- Leading pre-construction, progress, design and technical meetings.
- Managing procurement, material delivery and technical compliance.
- Overseeing quality control, sustainability requirements and loss-prevention measures.
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and key project stakeholders.
- Identifying and managing programme, technical and delivery risks.
- Ensuring accurate as-built information and documentation.
- Supporting testing, commissioning, project completion and handover.
- Driving a strong culture of safety, quality and technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Who we're looking for
You Will Have
- A strong background in Electrical Project Management or MEP Project Management within construction, building services or major infrastructure environments.
- Experience delivering large, technically complex projects.
- Healthcare project experience, ideally within hospitals or other complex healthcare environments.
- Experience within education, public-sector, infrastructure or major building projects would also be advantageous.
- Strong electrical and building-services technical knowledge.
- Experience managing specialist subcontractors and supply-chain partners.
- The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive project and programme performance.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working through pre-construction, construction, commissioning and handover phases.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and technical excellence.
