DT Teacher - Nottinghamshire - January 2026
Are you a driven and skilled Design & Technology Teacher looking for your next teaching role? A well-established school in Nottinghamshire is seeking a DT Teacher to join their dynamic department from January 2026 .
About the Role:
This is a full-time, permanent role delivering DT across KS3–KS4. Responsibilities include planning lessons, leading practical activities, ensuring health and safety procedures, supporting assessment processes and contributing to curriculum development.
About the School:
The school is known for excellent pastoral care, strong behaviour and a supportive learning environment. Their DT department offers modern, well-equipped workshops, specialist machinery and technician support. Staff benefit from high-quality CPD, collaborative planning and strong leadership guidance.
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a DT/Engineering degree
• Holds QTS/PGCE
• Teaches DT confidently at KS3–KS4
• Is enthusiastic, practical and committed to student success
• Works well within a collaborative DT team
