Job Title: Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist - Adult Dysphagia Team Specialism: Adult Dysphagia Location: Wakefield, UK Salary: £31 per hour Salary Type: Hourly Contract: Locum, Full-Time, 3 Months
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist specialising in Adult Dysphagia in Wakefield. This full-time locum role offers £31 per hour for a 3-month contract , providing the chance to work across varied clinical settings while making a meaningful impact on adults with swallowing difficulties.

Develop and deliver individualised treatment and management plans for patients with complex needs.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, holistic, and effective patient care.
Provide education and training to patients, families, and carers on dysphagia management strategies.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes. Requirements: HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist.
Significant experience in adult dysphagia is essential.
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
