A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a motivated Business ECT to join its successful Business and Economics department from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Business ECT to begin their teaching career within a school that offers a highly supportive and structured ECT programme.
The successful Business ECT will teach Business across KS4 and KS5, working alongside an experienced and collaborative department committed to developing Early Career Teachers.

The Role
The school is looking for an enthusiastic Business ECT who can deliver engaging and relevant lessons that develop students’ understanding of the business world and key economic principles. The successful Business ECT will receive strong guidance through a well-established ECT induction programme.
Responsibilities of the Business ECT include:
Teaching Business across KS4 and KS5
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Business curriculum
Supporting students in developing analytical and evaluative skills
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to support academic improvement
Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Business and Economics department

The successful Business ECT will:
Be completing or have recently completed a PGCE or teacher training programme in Business or a related subject
Be able to teach Business across KS4 and KS5
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for business education
Have excellent communication and organisational skills
Be eager to develop professionally within a supportive department
