Facilities/Logistics Assistant – Holiday Cover (August) 

Location: The City of London
Pay: £16.00 per hour 
Hours: 09:00–18:00

An established insurance company in The City is looking for a Facilities/Logistics Assistant to provide holiday cover throughout August. This is a great short‑term opportunity for someone reliable, organised, and comfortable with hands‑on operational work.

Confirmed Working Dates
Wednesday 5 August – Thursday 6 August (2 days)
Monday 10 August – Thursday 13 August (4 days)
Monday 17 August – Thursday 20 August (4 days)
Monday 24 August – Thursday 27 August (4 days)

You must be able to commit to all dates and pass standard security checks.

Key Responsibilities

• Post & parcel collection — Collecting items from the loading bay and internal departments
• Digital parcel logging — Recording deliveries on the company’s digital tracking system
• Internal deliveries — Distributing letters and parcels to staff and departments
• Meeting room setup — Preparing rooms for meetings and events
• Routine safety checks — Carrying out basic security and fire‑safety inspections
• Stock monitoring — Keeping an eye on stationery and general supplies

What We’re Looking For

• Someone punctual, dependable, and comfortable moving around a large office building
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
• Willingness to complete security vetting
