Head Chef
Location: Ribble Valley
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to take the lead at a well-established venue in the Ribble Valley. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled chef to take control of a high-quality kitchen, delivering exceptional food and leading a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
- Create and develop seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
- Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Ensure all health and safety regulations and hygiene standards are met
- Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team to maintain efficiency and consistency
- Work closely with the management team to maintain profitability and efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality establishment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- A passion for fresh, seasonal food and creative menu development
- Excellent organisational and financial management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
