Westcroft Health Centre hosts a wonderful team of 6 doctors and Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, HCA's, & Clinical Pharmacist's on a Part-Time or Full-Time basis. We are a very friendly and supportive training practice. We believe it is very important to achieve a good work life balance, and to maintain a good feeling of job satisfaction. Unfortunately, this has become a worsening challenge in the current climate across the NHS, so to address this, we actively look into ensuring that our team is not over-burdened by these pressures and that your hard work is appreciated. - Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess health conditions and medical histories (face-to face, including home visits and telephone)
- Diagnose a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses using clinical expertise and diagnostic tools
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with current guidelines
- Develop personalised care plans, including referrals to specialists when necessary
- Participate in practice meetings, clinical audits, and specialists when necessary
- Contribute to prescribing safety, referral management, and QOF achievement
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention and management strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with organisational standards on SystmOne

- Proven experience as a General Practitioner or similar role within a clinical setting. Experience with patient care across diverse populations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
