PPA Teacher - Birmingham
Are you an adaptable PPA Teacher who thrives on delivering high-quality learning experiences across year groups? We are seeking a reliable PPA Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Birmingham from January 2026.
The successful PPA Teacher will be responsible for delivering planned PPA lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring that pupils continue to make strong progress while class teachers undertake PPA duties. As PPA Teacher, you will work with phase leaders to ensure that lesson sequences are consistent and that assessment evidence is recorded and communicated. The PPA Teacher will support targeted groups where needed and provide clear feedback to class teachers to inform subsequent learning.

Responsibilities (as PPA Teacher):
• Deliver high-quality PPA lessons across the primary curriculum as PPA Teacher.
• Follow class teachers’ long-term plans and provide consistent assessment and feedback as PPA Teacher.
• Manage behaviour, set clear expectations and support pupil wellbeing during PPA sessions as PPA Teacher.
• Liaise with phase leaders to plan and refine PPA provision — an important part of the PPA Teacher remit.
