The Rewards and Benefits on Offer:Permanent day shiftsImmediate Starts availableHighly competitive basic salaryCompany PensionHoliday entitlementOnsite ParkingThe opportunity to work for an industry leading manufacturerMTrecs new client opportunity:MTrec Recruitment are proudly representing our industry leading manufacturing client in their search for a multiskilled maintenance technician.The business is in the Middlesborough area and will be looking to appoint their chosen applicant ASAP.This role is working day shifts, and if you meet the person specification below, apply now for an immediate response!The Job you will do:Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performanceDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and carry out timely repairsRespond to breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime and production disruptionConduct inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problemsMaintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts usedFollow health and safety regulations and always ensure a safe working environmentInstall, test, and commission new equipment or system upgradesWork with tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals to complete tasks efficientlyCollaborate with other departments, contractors, or engineers to resolve complex issuesManage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical componentsAbout you:It is essential that you are a time served engineer, holding a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.Ideally you will hold an 18 th edition qualification, however this is not essential.You will have a robust understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.It is essential that you can perform basic PLC fault finding.Flexible to work over the weekend if needed.Ideally you will be from a high paced manufacturing background, but this not essential.TPBN1_UKTJ
