Salary: £460 - £650 per week (depending on experience)

As a Cover Supervisor , you will supervise classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain on task and complete pre-set work in a positive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals considering a future career in teaching or education support.

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

* Supervise classes during teacher absences across different subjects
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and instructions
* Ensure students remain engaged and focused on their work
* Maintain positive classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Support students with classroom tasks where required
* Report any issues or concerns to teaching staff
* Create a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment
* Assist with general school duties when necessary

Requirements of a Cover Supervisor:

* Experience working with young people is desirable
* Confidence in managing a classroom independently
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
* A proactive, reliable, and professional approach
* A genuine interest in education and student development
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
