Job description
Join Northern Ireland Housing Executive in Belfast as an Admin Officer and support the delivery of essential housing services through effective administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely administrative and co-ordination support including recording and issuing of minutes.
- Use systems and databases to produce reports and information as required.
- Assist with organising venues and arrangements for Team meetings, events, and meetings with external service providers.
- Maintain efficient office and administration systems.
- Engage with tenants / customers.
- Carry out all general office duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 5 GCSEs to include Maths and English at grade C or above OR equivalent qualification PLUS 2 years general administrative experience in an office environment
- OR BTEC National OR equivalent PLUS 1 year’s administrative experience in an office environment, showing clear evidence of excellent written and communication skills.
- OR 3 years of general administrative experience within an office environment.
- IT/Microsoft Office Proficiency with demonstrated evidence of creating electronic documents.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with demonstrated evidence of working to meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake a Basic AccessNI Disclosure. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
