Cover Supervisor – Sheffield

We are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school in Sheffield . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and supporting students’ learning in the absence of their regular teacher.

The Role:

• Supervise classes and deliver pre-set work across a range of subjects
• Maintain a positive and focused learning environment
• Support students with their learning and encourage engagement
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A confident, patient, and supportive approach
• Ability to motivate and engage students
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
