Job summary
An exciting post has arisen within the speciality of nephrology. We are looking for someone to join our renal CNS team with a focus on Chronic kidney disease and vascular access. You will be part of a wider renal CNS team that support the health and well being of renal patients across Cornwall. This is a specialist team of nurses with a focus on the delivery highly specialised and excellent care to their patients. We are looking for someone who feels comfortable working independently with the help and support of colleagues whilst also being a vital member of the nephrology team. You will need excellent communication skills and have a passion for delivering high standards of care to your patients. This role has been approved for advertising; however, it is also being assessed as a suitable alternative employment opportunity. As a result, the vacancy may be withdrawn or there may be a delay before shortlisting can begin. This role is open to all applicants. The post holder will be responsible for being an accountable Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in nephrology including vascular access, support and management of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease and service improvement. The post holder will be based in the specialty of Nephrology. The post holder will be a highly experienced nurse who uses specialist knowledge and skills to support:
