Our Client is seeking a Geography Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4 within a well-established secondary school in Colchester. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across physical and human geography and contribute to the wider Humanities curriculum through shared planning, assessment development and enrichment activities such as fieldwork and sustainability projects.
School Information
This 11–18 school serves approximately 1,250 students and continues to achieve strong academic progress across all subjects. The Geography department benefits from specialist classrooms, digital mapping software, fieldwork programmes and well-resourced schemes of work that promote enquiry-based learning and global awareness. Students respond positively to high expectations and structured routines.
Staff describe the working environment as inclusive, organised and professionally stimulating. Leadership supports curriculum innovation and offers strong professional development opportunities through internal training, coaching and external CPD.
